BIO

Once upon a time there was a artist. Inspired by his imagination and fueled by the works of his childhood, he set out to become the greatest artist in all of the world. He won many art competitions, but lost interest in his art and found a new path. He chose the written word and, inspired by great writers such as Stan Lee and Robert Frost, he set out to make a name for himself in the world of literature. He went to school and left there with the knowledge of his craft, but a strong dislike for the corporate world. After settling at many jobs to pay the rent, he set out in pursuit of a more noble venture, his own arts magazine. With that, Hipnosis Magazine was born. He worked many years, and with many talented artists, writers, photographers, and more to make the magazine the voice of his generation. The dream lasted 9 years. When all his work seemed to pay off, the world suffered a terrible catastrophe and then interest in his magazine disappeared. The reality of the world of bills and a lack of funding saw his magazine fall to ashes. In a sense, the writer died.
So, where does that leave us? Well, the writer did not die on that day when the doors of his office closed forever. He packed up his stuff, closed up the doors, and disappeared into the darkness for several years without so much as a typed word. He vowed to never again put pen to paper, never to type another creative word, to say goodbye to the medium that is literature. Then one night, he found that he could not sleep. He had lost the ability to dream and with that, his desire to sleep. He spent many nights sitting up till dawn, lost in the thoughts. Then, the words came back to him. First, it was a few lines of poetry. Then, as the words grew in his mind like weeds, he started working on poems and prose and then jotting down the ideas for screenplays and novels. His creative spirit had returned and not let him be. He had awakened from his slumber. He was reborn.
This is the story of that writer and how he picked up from the ashes of despair and found his way back....
